When asking what the battery should look like the answer was &#8221;It should look like it&#8217;s kind of floating in the frame&#8221;.. Well..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/?attachment_id=5452\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5452\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5452\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20210715_123801.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"577\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I had to use the mill for this one, milling 10mm acrylic spacers to hold the edges of the battery pack. Since my beloved wife doesn&#8217;t do much offroad racing this&#8217;ll be plenty strong enough.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/?attachment_id=5453\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5453\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5453\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20210715_131646.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"577\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Designed a box shape that follows the frame with an offset. This is a test fit of the outer casing, seems quite ok.<\/p>\n<p>So, after welding a 13s5p pack of LG MJ1 cells the bike turned out quite ok.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/?attachment_id=5454\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5454\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5454\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20210715_132256.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"577\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/?attachment_id=5455\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5455\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5455\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runstenracing.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/20210722_110502.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"577\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bike is propelled by a BBS02 motor using an eggrider display and performs real good.
